Regional Birding Events First
Ever Sax Zim Bog Festival of Birds Highlights
of the event will include some great field trips throughout the day on Saturday,
additional field trips on Sunday morning, a presentation by Dave Benson on
Friday night and another presentation by Laura Erickson on Saturday night. Friday
night’s events begin with registration from 4-5:30 p.m. followed by a light
dinner/snack (meat and cheese platter) and a 7 p.m. presentation by Dave Benson
on “Owls of the North.” Saturday
events, in addition to the field trips, include a catered dinner at 5:30 p.m.
followed by Laura’s presentation on “How Birds Survive the Winter” at 7
p.m. DAS
